Stuck in the Mud: Trump, Biden Two Administrations One Middle East Foreign Policy. KGNU Boulder. 1390 am, 88.5 fm. Hemispheres, Middle East Dialogues hosted by Jim Nelson. Tuesday, March 23, 2021, 6-7 pm MST.

If the Biden Administration has made some strides to improve the domestic chaos created and left by his predecessor, ie, that there are U.S. domestic policy changes that suggest some light at the end of the tunnel for the U.S. economy, the same cannot be said for foreign policy. There very little has changed, and in the Middle East, if anything, the situation continues to deteriorate. The new Biden foreign policy team – essentially the old Obama Administration team is characterized by its continued enthusiastic support for Israel, defense of its treatment of the Palestinians, more bases in Iraq – despite the Iraqi government asking the U.S. to leave, the permanent occupation of eastern Syria and continued attempts to overthrow the Assad government as well as the defense of the Saudi regime and its role in the region despite its record.

And then there is the Biden Administration’s continued dithering on returning Washington to Iran Nuclear Deal, or JCPOA

In this episode of Hemispheres, Middle East Dialogues Ibrahim Kazerooni and Rob Prince will discuss the current status of the JCPOA, Iran’s long in the making “Asia pivot” regardless of how the fate of the Iran Nuclear Deal plays out and the current efforts on the part of Washington to bring competing Islamic tendences – the Muslim Brotherhood represented by Turkey and the Wahhabist faction by Saudi Arabia – back into a common fold to meet the challenge of an increasingly influence Axis of Resistance

All that and more, this Tues, 6 pm Mountain States Times.

Regarding the domestic policy. The Biden administration has the country locked down and masked. It doesn’t take much research to understand that the lockdowns will continue to kill the economy. Masks, lockdowns, and social distancing are in full use in the Democratic States. The statistical data all shows that they do not work. The government is virtually forcing vaccines (which are not vaccines, they are experimental genetic modification jabs that have not been sufficiently tested for efficiency or safety. The end result of the massive vaccination could be severe devastation on the health of the vaccinated. Of course, the Rulers cannot argue this point because the vaccines have not been tested for long term safety. Biden needs to open up the society. He needs to order the states to open up. He needs to start a massive job program. We are headed for total disaster domestically. We aren’t stuck in the mud, we are buried in the cement.
