Every $5,000 drone needing a $5 million dollar missile to stop it is certainly very asymmetrical warfare.

Thank you for this sober assessment of the changed dynamics in the region. The region has gotten to a point where, as Rob said, their anger is greater than their fear. The US and its allies no longer can project unchallenged power as they have been able to do since WWII.

For the past century, the region has been reactive to the Collective West., but you showed that this dynamic has been disrupted, perhaps irreversibly. Dr. Kazerooni noted that 15 years or so ago, Iranian president, Ahmadinejad stated that the West could start a war against Iran, “but we will finish it”. Currently, the Operational Initiative (a very important concept) lies with the Axis of Resistance. They are deciding the time and place and nature of the next major conflict: a very different world from what the US and allies have ever faced.

Looking forward to hearing about Ibrahim’s recent travels to Iran and Iraq.
